We've 8 rounds this year including Anglesey, Blyton Park, Cadwell Park, Croft, Oulton Park & Snetterton. With 21 classes to cover almost all vehicles, simple regulations and an easy to obtain licence it ideal entry level motorsport that caters to novices and experts alike whether it's a single seater, a high performance track car, a supermini or even just your road car you're welcome to join. You can enter individual events or enter 6 of the 8 rounds to compete in the championship. Cars are set off at intervals so it doesn't matter how fast you are, it's just you and your car against the clock and as long as you're enjoying yourself that's all that counts. Come give it a go.

Ever thought about taking part in one of our sprints but never got round to it? Join us at Blyton Park on Sunday 23rd March for our pre season shakedown with an AM trackday & PM sprint taster session. Primarily aimed at newcomers this is your chance to dip your toes into the water with a normal trackday in the morning from £90 and a 'just for fun' sprint in the afternoon from £75 so a cheap way of giving it a go before our sprint championship gets underway at Blyton Park on the 13th April with events going on sale tomorrow (8th Jan).

We've some simple classes setup just to get you running in the right order and some simple safety regs to make sure you're OK to take part, see the tabs on the sprint booking page for full details. There are no awards for the sprint (other than bragging rights) but it's just a fun 3-4 run bit of friendly competition where you can give it a go in a low pressure environment. You just need an IOPD competition licence but that is as simple as putting your basic details into a form online and paying £15 for the event or £25 for the year. Almost all trackday vehicles can take part (just check the regs for noise, safety gear and roll over protection requirements) and as it's a fairly short run with a rest in between your normal road car will do the job just as well.

If you're ever worried about being competitive on a sprint just remember it doesn't really matter, as long as the times are coming down and you're having fun doing it that's all that counts.

We can now announce our provisional 2025 sprint calendar. We've the usual favourites plus the potential return of Snetterton on the cards. Unfortunately the BSB calendar meant we were unable to secure an Oulton date in the same spot again but with agreement from the circuit we've managed to keep it on the calendar but a bit later by running through lunch to counter the earlier finish. It was a popular addition to the series last year and although taking place a few weeks later to this year, November should make little difference to the weather but it also has the benefit of making a significant difference to the price!

Entries to the sprint series will go on sale on 8th January and as always when planning ahead we remind you that although dates are agreed in principal the contracts won't be issued for a while so if you're booking any accommodation well in advance then including some flexibility is a wise choice just in case.

We're also planning to have our annual AM trackday & PM sprint at Blyton Park on the 23rd March which will be listed soon. So if you've not tried a sprint before or want to get some of your friends/family to dip their toe in before the season gets underway it's a great introduction.

An update on the proposed layouts for Anglesey for Rounds 5 & 6 of the series (excuse the dodgy drawings). Both layouts will utilise the GP circuit with Saturday 31st August starting off with a lap of the Club Circuit before continuing on to complete the GP whereas Sunday 1st September will use the revised GP layout. This means both days will run out of the 'new' pitlane starting off from where you would enter the circuit on any normal trackday. The shorter layout on the Sunday should hopefully mean we'll get through everyone efficiently ready for the drive home.

Remember if you need to order replacement numbers or the IOPD annual licence you need to do it now to get them in time, if you need to order an IOPD day licence then do it before the event weekend just in case there is an issue and you need to contact IOPD.

We've had an advanced delivery of the sprint sunstrips so if you're a championship entrant and you're at the taster tomorrow then you'll be able to collect one early. We'll have them available again along with the rest of the sticker pack at the first round on the 14th April. If you're not in the championship and wish to buy one then you can likely do so tomorrow as well as we should have enough to meet demand but championship people get first priority. They'll be available from 10-12:30 from Hayley in the briefing room.

Read through the simple regulations on the website, enter an event, purchase your competition licence online and we’ll see you on track. 25 classes cover all sorts of vehicle, compete for overall and class trophies on the day as well as for the championships, drop in for one round or all of them whatever suits you.
