An update on the proposed layouts for Anglesey for Rounds 5 & 6 of the series (excuse the dodgy drawings). Both layouts will utilise the GP circuit with Saturday 31st August starting off with a lap of the Club Circuit before continuing on to complete the GP whereas Sunday 1st September will use the revised GP layout. This means both days will run out of the 'new' pitlane starting off from where you would enter the circuit on any normal trackday. The shorter layout on the Sunday should hopefully mean we'll get through everyone efficiently ready for the drive home.
Get lined up ready for Round 3 at Croft Circuit on Sunday, 16th June. Event Instructions have now been sent out to participants and you can find the information on our sprint website on the link below.

We've had an advanced delivery of the sprint sunstrips so if you're a championship entrant and you're at the taster tomorrow then you'll be able to collect one early. We'll have them available again along with the rest of the sticker pack at the first round on the 14th April. If you're not in the championship and wish to buy one then you can likely do so tomorrow as well as we should have enough to meet demand but championship people get first priority. They'll be available from 10-12:30 from Hayley in the briefing room.
We're looking for someone to join our small sprint team as a timekeeper. Check out the job spec on the link below and how to apply if you're interested.

If you’re not sure about sprints why not dip your toe on our trackday and sprint taster event at Blyton Park on 31st March.
Ever thought about taking part in one of our sprints but never got round to it? Join us at Blyton Park on Sunday 31st March for our pre season shakedown with an AM trackday & PM sprint taster session. Primarily aimed at newcomers this is your chance to dip your toes into the water with a normal trackday in the morning from £85 and a 'just for fun' sprint in the afternoon from £65 so a cheap way of giving it a go before our sprint championship starts two weeks later on 14th April.
https://javelintrackdays.co.uk/trackdays/JTSS
We've some simple classes setup just to get you running in the right order and some simple safety regs to make sure you're OK to take part, see the tabs on the sprint booking page for full details. There are no awards for the sprint (other than bragging rights) but it's just a fun 3-4 run bit of friendly competition where you can give it a go in a low pressure environment. You just need an IOPD competition licence but that is as simple as putting your basic details into a form online and paying £15 for the event or £25 for the year. Almost all trackday vehicles can take part (just check the regs for noise, safety gear and roll over protection requirements) and as it's a fairly short run with a rest in between your normal road car will do the job just as well.
If you're ever worried about being competitive on a sprint just remember it doesn't really matter, as long as the times are coming down and you're having fun doing it that's all that counts.
We're pleased to announce our 2024 calendar, events will go on sale as soon as the new website is completed. This year see's Cadwell Park move to the summer to make way for a new final round in the form of Oulton Park. We also see the much requested return of Anglesey which is sure to delight many competitors.
You can now find the 2024 regs up on the sprint website, only a few minor tweaks from previous years.

So if you want to take part in a fun, friendly, simple and welcoming competition series that's easy to enter then why not come join us.
News Update
We’ve got our first batch of trackday dates on sale for 2024 so we’ll list those gradually as we wait for a couple of circuits to confirm dates as well. Now the bulk of the work to list them is done though it means I can move onto the sprint stuff so updates below.
Winter Sprint
For those who don’t know already we’ll not be running a winter sprint in 2024 as it doesn’t really work as a standalone event at that time of year unfortunately.
Taster Sprint
We intend to run another AM trackday/PM sprint taster day at Blyton again to encourage people to give it a go and an unofficial shakedown day. Current plan is for this to be the Sunday, 31st March.
2024 Regs & Calendar
The main one. Aim to get the regs updated in the next couple of weeks and release them along with the provisional calendar and hopefully a website revamp at the same time. No major changes planned, just a few tweaks and apparently fixing a load of typos! By that point trackdays should hopefully be listed up to the end of October so those of you who want to take advantage of the sale for your cheat days can do so.

That's the 2023 Javelin Trackdays Sprint Series complete and what a year it's been. We've had some incredibly close competition over the 7 rounds of the series and in the end we had 3 class positions and the series win itself come down to a tie-breaker, you can't get much closer than that. Congratulations to all our winners
We'd like to thank all of you who attended this year as it's been the most popular year for JTSS so far and the series would be nothing without all of you. We'll have a provisional calendar for 2024 in December with the series going on sale in the middle of January so we hope you'll come back to join us.
Lastly we'd like to thank all the guys & gals who make the sprints possible so huge thanks go to (in no particular order)
The circuits for hosting us
The marshals and medic for looking after everyone
Derek Jones, Mike Savage & Terry Hines on the start stick
Jake Simpson on Timing
Hayley Jebson & Julie Turner for admin and herding you on the day
Vix Cutler for looking after the TSS bunch
Thank You everyone.
