Lunar and Lustre We make stuff and have parties where you can make stuff :)

Lunar and Lustre is a joint venture between a dressmaker and a designer, aiming to bring you a full range of fashion solutions -whether you want to buy a ready to wear item from our own collection, order a fully bespoke piece or have one of your own items altered or customised we have the skills and imagination to create the right product. Our DIY Parties bring a craft studio to your home or party

venue - whether it's customising clothes or creating something for your home, we can tailor a party to suit you. We don’t just want you to make something great at our parties, we want you to have a fab time whilst doing so! Our parties will include a small icebreaker crafty game - just to get the creative juices flowing - something along the lines of marbling paper, or creating a mad drippy painting in the garden. All our activities are designed to be suitable for a range of skill levels and we like you and your guests to know they will take home something they’re proud of. Every aspect of your party can be planned in advance so we know what colour / theme materials you’d like us to bring and choose which games and activities you’d like. We also offer sewing lessons in an informal, pressure free environment, as a group or on a one-to-one basis. All lessons are led by our head seamstress, who has experience creating sample garments for high street brands and skills in dressmaking and upholstery.

Happy Manchester Day! We can't wait to see all the costumes in the parade later! Keep an eye out for us, we're doing laps of the route + squares selling our temporary tattoos, badges, flags and bracelets to celebrate the Manc love!

we're in the exciting process of making our own little cart, within the next few weeks we'll be trundling around Manchester selling our own creations and some quirky carefully sourced trinkets we think you might like... as soon as we're ready to get our wheels rolling we will let you all know!
