Known as the 'Pearl of the Adriatic' Polignano a Mare is a beautiful little town on the coast of the Vale d'itria. Alberobello is a small town with a population of just over 10,000 residents.

It is famous for its trulli houses (known in the singular as ‘trullo’). Trulli’s are typically one storey high and are characterised as a whitewash cylinder shape topped by a conical roof.

They are so unique and historically important they are considered Alberobello has been classed as a UNESCO world heritage site since 1996.

If you have a morning to spare or fancy a pre-dinner stroll why not admire some Puglian architecture in Alberobello.
