𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲: £11.50per hour whilst training, moving to £12.50 per hour once trained

𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬: Monday, Tuesday and Friday 0530 - 1500, Total hours 28.5 hours and always shifts to cover

We are currently seeking a part-time Taxi Controller to join our team. This is an entry-level position with the potential to grow into a management role. As you become more familiar with our operations and demonstrate your ability to effectively manage our taxi fleet, you may be considered for a management position.

As a Taxi Controller, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching taxi services to customers. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.

During the training period, your working hours may differ from the standard hours and you will receive a starting rate of £11.50 per hour. Once you have completed your training, you will receive a pay increase to £12.50 per hour. Training duration will vary depending on experience, area knowledge and the ability to learn new software and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating and dispatching taxis to customers
Communicating with drivers to ensure they are aware of customer requirements
Dealing with customer in a professional and timely manner
Maintaining accurate records of all bookings and dispatches
Working closely with other team members to ensure a high level of customer service is provided at all times
Key Requirements:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm in stressful situations
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Good IT skills, including experience with taxi booking software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility with working hours
