Such a glorious morning!! Another day exploring the beautiful East Coast at Walton-on-the-Naze. Such an underrated beach. A few fossilised sharks teeth finds between us but this one was by far the biggest!

There is a fantastic café and shop run by the Essex Wildlife Trust near the Naze Tower - it has some great information on the history and geology of the site including lots of example fossils! They also have coffee, snacks, lunch and small presents to buy.

We’ve been inspired by and all this glorious British sunshine…so we’ve taken a break from making hay, grabbed our hamper and headed to our favourite picnic spot in Flatford.

Only 20 mins from Dedham Vale and Flatford are great places to explore and enjoy some fun down by the river:

Glenn teaches paddleboarding, wingfoiling and E-foiling with beginners lessons available on our farm lake next to the cabins.
We are so lucky to be so close to the coast with all kinds of watersports available at several beaches and lakes nearby.

A quick little tour of Stoats Cabin with its whitewashed and reclaimed wood walls. The oak slab headboards, chunky coffee tables, and huge oak slab tables are all from a fallen oak tree from the farm. With handmade kitchens and beds it can sleep up to 6.

🛌 Sleeps 2 - 6 in kingsize bed and double bunk beds.
👣 Underfloor heating throughout.
👙 Electric hot tub
🛁 Roll top bath and shower
🥞 Fully equipped kitchen and living space with smart TV and traditional games box.

Our Story

We started in 2013 with six safari tents and are currently in the process of upgrading them to luxury cabins and treehouses. These will hopefully all be finished and ready for guests by Spring 2020... we will keep you posted!
