Please support Us by Following our pages on Facebook CameronLife Photo Library and on Instagram . We are the children of Charles Everest, an award winning stills photographer, lighting and newsreel cameraman and producer who created a massive archive of work dating from the 1950's until his death in 2015. The contents of this archive is an important Social History covering events over much of his life.
CameronLife main aim is to preserve and restore the works, artifacts and relevant data relating to the archive for prosperity. Our hope is that future generations can enjoy learning from Dads captured experiences. Our restoration work is self financed by raising funds through exhibitions and licencing of images.

At Cameronlife we are very proud of our Festival Experience Exhibition. It is nice to receive feedback from the venues in which we exhibit. below are two separate accolades recently received.

Swansea Museum, Sept-Dec 2011
"The IOW Music Festival exhibition brought a new and enthusiastic audience into Swansea Museum, following on from and re-inforcing the success of other rock related exhibitions. It was an evocative look back at an iconic time in music. Its success with us was undoubted, and certainly ranked as one of the leading attractions in our programme of innovative displays" said Roger Gale, Exhibitions & Events Officer of Swansea Museum.

Dimbola Lodge Freshwater Isle of Wight, Jun-Sept 2010
"I attest that the exhibition of Charles Everest's extraordinary colour images - which make forty years ago seem the merest blink of an eye - was a huge pleasure, and that the presentation of these images was superb.
The whole Everest family very helpful and willing to engage in press promotions, and the shock of visiting celebrities (Melanie among them) they took in their stride. In particular Charles' own gracefulness and friendly attention to each and every one of those he talked to was remarked on by many of our local press and media people, he was always willing, as an old press hand himself, to go that extra mile. In addiiton, the actual marketing and sales of prints was handled very smoothly by his sons.

An experience and show that I would be delighted to repeat at Dimbola in times to come. In addition, we had a very good result in terms of sales through our shop of both the prints and the catalogue - among the best ever - and a very positive visitor reaction ,as recorded in our comments book, and as verbally conveyed to our volunteers on the desk and to me as Chairman. The only event I can compare it to was the visit of Brian May to give a talk and then sign copies of his Vicorian stereascopic slide show book. Another hugely charming man, by the way".
Dr Brian HInton MBE, Executive Chairman of Dimbola, and the then head of its Exhibitions Committee.

Thank you for your kind words.
