We HIT it with our best shot!

Last Thursday, we attended the Hospitality Industry Trust Scotland conference in Glasgow, where we heard from some inspiring keynote speakers and congratulated the 303 recipients of HIT scholarships, including 11 from Apex Hotels, that were announced at the event. 🥳

At Apex, we’re proud to work so closely with the charity as their scholarships highlight the diversity and ambition within Scotland’s thriving hospitality sector.
HIT Scotland mirrors our own development strategy of ‘Grow, Thrive, Belong’ and we’re incredibly proud of all team members, past and present, who have been awarded one of these coveted scholarships.

This year’s Apex Annual People Awards had a Monopoly theme to mark 20 years of Apex City of London! It was a fantastic night celebrating the dedication, talent, and passion of our teams across the UK.

It's World Energy Savers Week, and Apex Hotels spend all 52 weeks of the year being committed to reducing our carbon footprint! ♻️

💡Having Energy Saving Key cards in bedrooms means rooms don’t use energy when unoccupied. 85% of our lighting is LED with a target of 100% by end 2025.
🚌We participate in the Cycle2work initiative and encourage use of public transport for employees and customers. (Our city centre locations help with this too!)
💚We partner with suppliers who are committed to meeting our high corporate responsibility standards in their own operations, including complying with our Company Ethics, Sustainability, and other relevant policies.
🌳We use recycled paper where we need a printed copy. Our invoices are received electronically, and we have a paperless check-in process for our guests. We even established Apex Grove in the Scottish Highlands planting trees with Trees for Life.

In November, we proudly reopened Pine Trees Hotel after an extensive refurbishment, offering a tranquil, rural escape in the heart of Perthshire.

🍴 Rebranding Liberté Café-Bar & Brasserie
This year saw the relaunch of Liberté at Apex Waterloo Place in Edinburgh, combining vibrant dining with contemporary style.

🏆 Celebrating Our Team
Congratulations to Lyndsey Nicholls from Apex City Quay Hotel in Dundee, who was awarded Employee of the Year at The Courier Business Awards!

🌟 Expanding Our Portfolio
We were thrilled to acquire the prestigious 5-star Vineyard Hotel in Berkshire, an exciting addition to the Apex Hotels family.
