Guests’ experience will begin with their own tailored schedule with a variety of choices to accommodate how they want to spend their time. Our Greek Fantasy - Naxian on the beach 🌊

A lot of ‘on the beach’ hotels can be exposed and far less intimate than people would like. That’s not the case with the Naxian. The hotel has taken over a section of the beach - it’s yours, uninterrupted and blissfully private. It’s also exclusively for couples. The suites are a short 10 metres from the sand, and their large windows overlook the Aegean sea. It has a rustic, minimalist and authentic Greek style, but it is undeniably luxury. The food can be enjoyed on the beach, on the balcony, or delivered to your room. The dining experience is relaxed, but full of flavour fit for everyone. Explore the local area on horseback or bike, or venture the sea, with sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving all available activities.

Our Greek Fantasy - Grace Santorini ☀️

Another European luxury giant is Santorini. Like Mykonos, it overlooks the Aegean sea - delicately placed on the cliff face. The hotel is a crisp and elegant modern twist on authentic Greek architecture. Inside, it’s pristine, bright and understated. Described as a ‘picturesque sanctuary’, guests can indulge in sunrise and sunset yoga, the incredible spa and the area’s largest infinity pool. There are also cooking experiences that pair alongside the fine dining experience and cliff-top restaurant. This is a typical Greek luxury retreat, and one we can’t wait to see in-person one day.

Our Greek Fantasy - Bill & Coo, Mykonos ☀️

The next stop on our luxury Greek adventure is Mykonos - need we say more? Mykonos has soared in recent years, and it’s now firmly one of Europe’s most luxurious destinations. Our Greek Fantasy - Amanzoe, Peloponnesian Peninsula ✨

We’ve been dreaming about a lot of places lately. From homegrown luxury escapes here in the UK, to Italian adventures, we’re all desperate to get away. There isn’t long to go now. So to get you in the mood for your holiday, we thought we’d explore one of Europe’s most idyllic destinations.

Greece - the home of mythology, unrivalled history, supreme flavour, an exceptional climate, warm waters and authentic style. It’s a place where you can get lost - and we’ve done our best to find the spots where we’d all happily disappear for a week or two.

Amanzoe, Peloponnesian Peninsula ✨

First up, Amanzoe. As a member of the prestigious Aman hotel family, this place comes with a luxury reputation. Scattered with Unesco-protected ruins, Amanzoe is a true embodiment of Greek authenticity. Situated on the east coast, it overlooks the deep blue Aegean sea and the surrounding olive groves. All villas come with a private pool, and the on-site site spa offers a blend of sea bathing, gymnastics, exercise, dieting and yoga. When it comes to food, the main restaurant is a mix of global and Mediterranean cuisine, followed by a more down to earth dining experience at the pool restaurant, bar, and beach club. Our Love Affair with Italy - Hotel Hubertus - ✨

We’re in love with Italy. When it comes to holidays abroad, it’s a country that ticks every box. There’s also the added bonus of incredible food and stunning weather wherever you look.

This gourmet hotel is beautifully designed, carved into the slopes of the Dolomite mountains. Labelled as ‘close to heaven’ it sits way above the valley floor, in touch with the hilly landscape and the crisp mountain air - perfect for those who want to explore the mountains. Our Love Affair with Italy - Dimora delle Balze - ✨

Sometimes the most elegant hotels are the ones that have barely been touched - or at least only slightly refined. That’s definitely the case with the Dimora delle Balze. The hotel is an old fortress, delicately placed at the top of a hilly landscape. It’s spectacular - a place created for special occasions.

Rugged rustic stone is the theme throughout the hotel, leaving huge open spaces full of warm natural air. There’s a stunning seasonal pool that acts as the centrepiece to this classic Italian stay. Olive trees and old Roman pillars line the hotel and food is sourced from the surrounding area. It’s a rural Italian retreat that oozes luxury and authentic style.

Our Love Affair with Italy - Residenza Napoleone III ✨

Ever wondered what true Italian luxury looks like? The answer lies with the Residenza Napoleone III. It’s name is unique, and for good reason: this was formerly home to Emperor Napoleon III. The interior is fit for a king, with golden hues, towering candles, classical art and the grandest of decor.

There are two apartments: the Napoleon Suite and the Roof Garden Suite. Napoleon preserves the character and elegance designed for Napoleon himself. The Roof Garden Suite is a beautiful penthouse with more of a contemporary twist. We can’t stress just how spectacular this place looks - perfect for families, parties, romantic escapes and special occasions.

Our Love Affair with Italy - Masseria Torre Maizza – Puglia - ✨

Next on the list, Masseria Torre Maizza. This elegant hotel is located in Puglia, a southern region of Italy that looks out over the Adriatic Sea. When someone mentions Italian coastlines, we automatically think Amalfi; the Adriatic sea is just as spectacular, with crystal clear waters and cliffs full of character.

The hotel is a blend of local heritage and contemporary luxury, designed to provide bespoke experiences for all its guests. With a 9 hole golf course on site, a rooftop bar overlooking the water, a pool and signature spa, you’re never short of things to indulge in at Masseria. All the food is sourced locally and dishes explore traditional Italian flavours.

This is a part of Italy few have really discovered. If you plan on visiting, make sure you choose the Masseria Torre Maizza as your stay.

Our Love Affair with Italy - Le Sirenuse, Positano - ✨

Positano is in demand. The villa clings onto the rocky cliffs of the spectacular Amalfi coast, and is most noticeable for its eclectic mix of colours that light up the houses. Tucked away on the cliff face is Le Sirenuse - a stunning luxury hotel. Opened in 1951 by four Neoppolitan siblings, the hotel maintains a warm, charming and rustic ambience. Smaller than most luxury hotels but bursting full of character. The rooms and interior reflect the vast array of Positano colours, and all have unfiltered views over the rich blue Tyrrhenian Sea.

With a pool, spa and personalised Amalfi fitness regime on offer, Le Sirenuse caters for all. The food is inspired by the great culinary traditions of Naples and the Amalfi - a beautiful experience all round, from the flavours on your plate to the elegant restaurant settings.

Our Love Affair with Italy - The Place Florence - ✨

Self-titled ‘the place to be’ it’s hard to disagree when you get a glimpse of this hotel. The Place is a timeless retreat. It’s renovated but still shaped and influenced by rich Italian culture. Florence itself is bursting with artistic heritage and The Place replicates this within its four walls.

Described as ‘made-to-measure’ hospitality, all of the rooms are perfectly crafted with even better views over the Tuscan city. As we’re in Italy, it’s no surprise to see the food lives up to its reputation. Guests can start the day with an al fresco breakfast, and finish it with cocktails and romantic fine-dining. Florence is a wonderful location for a weekend away - and there’s only one place to be.

Our Love Affair with Italy - Aman Venice - ✨

You can very rarely go wrong with a trip to Venice, especially when staying at an Aman hotel - one of the world’s most famous international luxury hotel groups. With only 24 guest rooms, it’s exclusive - ideal for group vacations, celebrations and special occasions. The interior is the star of the show, with breath-taking classic art and grand architecture in every room, and a wellness spa tucked away up a secret staircase.

For food, the experience is ‘authentic Venetian dining’ - expect classic Italian cuisine with a luxury gourmet twist. It’s hard to find a fault with this sublime hotel.

We hope we’ll all be able to visit at some point.

About DNA’s CEO - Dan Nickless - His ambition was to build a unique business that provides outstanding #luxuryholidays defined by his ambition and vision. He wanted it to be guided by his expert personal touch - “You have to really understand clients and their individual motivation to deliver exactly what they are looking for in a #holiday''.

Alongside Dan is his sister, Katie Nickless has always loved travel - her childhood #familyholidays were truly wonderful and memorable experiences. She has a passion for #skiing and first started working in #travel as a #ski host in #StAnton in #Austria. Katie then experienced 5 seasons living in the French ski resort of Les Gets throughout summer and in winter for a private #chalet company. Returning to England to continue her association with the sport at an online ski company where her experience and inside knowledge proved invaluable to top end clients. Katie really found her calling. Now her 10 years gaining real insight into the requirements of corporate clients means she wants to build a unique service offer at DNA. This is because she adores travel, has extensive global knowledge and sets extremely high personal standards for herself and her customers. Her clients are at the centre of everything she delivers.
