Hello Jean.....
My apologies for the lateness of this message..... I have been so busy with work since my return from Great Britain -- but I have to let you know how wonderful things were...... Because I am accustomed (being in the travel business) to writing descriptive overviews of things, this can be wordy --- If there are parts you want to add to your site's feedback section, take bits that you think will express our enjoyment of our special day.

First, as you know, my party shrunk from 15 to 13 due to a positive covid test by one couple in our group......they were so disappointed to miss this tour --- we didn't want to make them feel worse but it was hard to contain our excitement after we returned to the ship.
We arrived in Liverpool to sunshine and warmth -- after some typical (= wet/cool !) days prior...... This was a good omen.
Your instructions were spot on and we had no trouble spotting Ant and, to our surprise, Stevie was with him so we got to meet both of your more popular guides. Thus, our amazing day started. I think people expect Liverpool to be more gritty and 'working class' and perhaps have preconceived notions of what it's like. We found it to be totally charming, beautiful and filled with character. Every place we went was picture-worthy and Ant provided us with tons of history, stories and Beatles lore. The highlights were, of course, seeing the boyhood homes and places the boys patronized and frequented...... Seeing the places featured in Carpool Karaoke was a big thrill -- loved loved loved Penny Lane ! Equally special was lunch at Strawberry Fields..... Ant and I walked around in our free time after lunch and I so appreciated getting to know him a bit more. He is a real treasure. Unexpected was the visit to the Casbah Club ---- Roag was on hand to give us the remarkable history -- my group had no idea this would be included and were awed by the story -- we hope we made him happy with the enthusiasm my group displayed and the amount of t-shirts we purchased ! We know for a fact that none of the tours offered by the cruise could compare with our tour. Knowing the day was winding down was bittersweet.... it was so hard to say goodbye --- I easily could have stayed for a few extra days and done everything all over again. Hands down, this was the highlight of our cruise.... Most of us were traveling for 15+ days and we did many nice things but, coming to Liverpool --- after the lengthy forced postponements --- and doing this tour was the best experience -- it will never be forgotten. I can't thank you enough for all you did for us from the original contact I made with you way back in 2019 -- to the actual experience just a few weeks ago. My big thrill in London was going to see Freddie Mercury's Garden Lodge (booked my hotel purposely to be a short walk from it !) But the best part of this entire trip was -- Mop Top Tours ---- Thank you (again!) so very much -- please share our appreciation and thoughts with your team..... truly the best in the business !!!
