SCHEDULE
2 weekends:
March 22-23 & April 5-6
Saturdays: 3pm - 9pm
Sundays: 10am - 4pm
TUTOR: BRYAN DONALDSON
Bryan comes from a 3rd generation theatrical family background in New Zealand.
Although beginning in theatre and performing as a magician, Bryan went on to become an experienced aerial circus artist. He travelled the world as an aerial artist and rigger with touring circus companies for many years.
In 2003 he co-founded 'High Performance' and now teaches the popular course 'Rigging Fundamentals for Aerial Performance' and continues working and developing techniques for aerial rigging.
TUTOR: SHANE HOLOHAN
With a background in mainstreadm education, Shane discovered gymnastics at 25. He attended the Ecole Nationale de Cirque in Montreal where he took their High Performance Teacher Training Programme.
In 2013 he set up Taking Flight and has completed a PhD in Arts Practice in the University of Limerick, where he considered how best to support and develop circus artists in building a creative practice. This research is the foundation for Taking Flight's professional development programme: EXPLORE - CREATE - PERFORM.
