A sign that spring is on its way. These daffodils were planted along the edge of our woodland by our granddad over 30 years ago. A lovely memory of him every spring.

Tack room all clean and ready for its new guests to arrive this afternoon. This week we replaced the carpet with this lovely wooden floor and feel that it has brightened up the room.

We are really pleased with this colour of paint from . It’s made Crabapple feel more homely and fresh. We have also updated the pictures on the walls.

After a busy summer season we will be closing one cottage at a time to do some maintenance. We are currently adding some touches to Crabapple and giving it a fresh look with yard party.

We are just 5 miles from Cambridge. You can travel in by car, bus, park and ride or even cycle. Cambridge is a beautiful university city full of shops, cafes, restaurants, museums and of course there’s punting.

After all the rain yesterday we made the most of the sunshine and had walk to Hardwick woods, where we saw the beautiful bluebells. The photos don’t do them justice and they smell amazing too.

I was very lucky to be able to go on a wreath making work at Helen was lovely and I can highly recommend. There was a small group of six, we drank coffee, ate cake and made our wreaths. Now Feeling very festive and looking forward to put up the rest of our decorations and lights up over the weekend. She has other workshops through the year.
