My first full day wedding of the year started on Thursday in a library in Buxton, with a reception at the crescent hotel, the carried on yesterday with an early morning open water swim, followed by a celebration at the Roman Gardens in Marple.

The groom is Andy, one of the founder members of Mentell

A nicer bloke you’ll never meet. Clare, his wife, is genuinely as lovely and devilishly funny, delivering one of the best bride speeches I’ve ever heard. You would never know that they met only 12 months ago!!!

I wish them both many happy years together.

The brilliant thing about booking a second photographer is that you get to see moments that you just wouldn’t see otherwise, like your partners reaction to a gift or a letter you’ve given them to open before your ceremony.

I’ll never forget the way that dealt with waking up with an allergic reaction on her wedding day. Many people, including me would have spiralled into a panic. She was so calm though. Cold spoons, ice packs, paracetamol and laughter. Needless to say she looked beautiful when the time came to get married to .harrison87 over at
