You may be asking what is the difference? Well let us enlighten you as both have their advantages.😎
🌟River Cruises are smaller ships, typically in the hundred's of passengers. Where as Ocean Cruises are much larger and tend to be in thousands.
🌟River Cruises go on rivers that the larger Ocean Cruises won't fit so they have different itineraries.
🌟Due to being smaller ships, River Cruises tend to not have the same volume of amenities or entertainment on board as Ocean Cruises which are like cities in themselves with their various dining options and all out entertainment options.
🌟River Cruises tend to me more culture focused, include shore tours and you can wake up in a different city or town each day! Ocean Cruises go at a more leisurely pace allowing you time to relax and take full advantage of all the entertainment on board.
