A welcome return to Speyside by Bernd and Markus and their friend Franz from Germany. Good to see them again on a two day tour.
I am closing down for the winter now and taking booking enquiries for March to July 2025.

Fabulous evening at Macallan Distillery with the Cirque du Soleil troupe performing their Spirit show created for Macallan’s 200th anniversary. Breathtaking skills , imagination and music ( and whisky)

Beautiful weather recently allowed my guests to really enjoy Speyside. Visiting from Germany, USA and Scotland , we covered a good selection of distilleries.

Guests from the opposite sides of the world this week, from Cleveland Ohio and Melbourne Australia. Lovely people and very enjoyable tours which included some Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival events.

Back up and running with tours after taking a winter break. Second tour of the year with Jessica and Matt from USA. Enjoyed meeting all the distillery staff again, and imparting some whisky knowledge to my guests.

Last tour of the year for me with four friends from London, seen here at Glenallachie. A cold day but good whisky drinking weather! Signing off until March…but taking bookings for Spring and Summer 24.

Coming close to the end of the season, however still busy with four groups over the last week or so. All good company and hailing from USA and Australia. A bit breezy yesterday with storm Babete bringing down some trees and branches at distilleries.

Haven’t post for a while, but have been busy with tours! Three days over this weekend with a group of colleagues from UK and USA, and a couple based in the UAE. Included Speyburn for the first time - very interesting distillery.

Eight lovely guests from USA over a four day period of touring, saw us cover a wide area, and lots of distilleries. Speyside looked beautiful, especially with the hillside heather in bloom, and barley ready for harvest.

Another busy long weekend, with four groups of guests all (originally) from USA. Travelled all over Speyside and was happy to be able to extend their whisky knowledge, and enjoy chatting as we toured.

Great news! We have another excellent distillery option to visit on Speyside. Speyburn Distillery has opened to the public for the first time in over 125 years. I visited today and toured this quirky layout which includes an unused malting floor, kiln and drum markings. A window into the past.

It’s always great when I am able to add to the whisky knowledge of my guests. Last week I had groups from UK and USA some of who were celebrating big birthdays and thought “what better than a Speyside Whisky Experience “?

A busy week just finished with lovely guests from Malaysia, USA and Australia. Nice to visit Glenallachie’s new tasting room, amongst many great distilleries in the Speyside region.
