Great weekend assessing a Silver DofE expedition in an area new to me. I enjoyed my 3 days in The Chiltern's. Nice weather to start, but went rather wet later in the weekend. The young people did really well and kept morale high all the way through!
The campsite on day 3 reminded me of the Glastonbury Festival!

How lucky are we......another sunny day in Switzerland with the team from Ramblers Walking Holidays. A trip up to Rothorn on the lift followed by a walk to Fluhalp from Blauherd. After returning to Blauherd we followed the flower trail down to Sunnegga.

Great day out guiding the Chesterfield lads on their 50km loop through the Peak. The team used the Peak District Challenge event to raise sponsorship money for a couple of great causes. 3rd year for me and once again there was great weather!

What a scorcher! Great to be walking in Somerset with Walkwise once again. It was a great weekend with a nice mix of socialising and walking. Found some nice little glades near Wells and a wonderful ice-cream van too! Amazing views on Sunday from Glastonbury Tor. Looking forward to the next adventure soon.

Lots of personal walking and enjoying the outdoors in the last 12 months, but this weekend was about DofE. Great weather for a 'Gold' practice day and 2 day expedition in the Black Mountains.
Thanks to the School of Outdoors for putting on a great event.
