We recently held a very successful Leader Training Weekend! 🤩
New and repeat leaders joined information seminars led by our Camps staff and engaged in discussions with our in-country teams. The goal for the weekend was to make sure all leaders are as equipped as they can be for their upcoming adventures. ✈️
After the learning, the leaders bonded and strengthened their teamwork skills through various activities. Scaling the climbing wall and skiing down slopes were just a couple of the thrilling activities people got involved in. 🧗
Our leaders are ready to ensure every traveller has a safe, rewarding and unforgettable expedition! ✨️

Take a look of some of the highlights from our Teacher Training Weekend! 👀
We had teachers from all over the UK join us for a jam-packed weekend to help them gear up for their expeditions this summer! ☀️
The weekend included deep dives into the destinations the groups will be visiting, tips and tricks for packing as well as specific activities depending on the adventure element of each team! 🙌🏼
The teams were challenged with discussing risk assessments in an expedition environment, comparing the roles and responsibilities of the leader, teacher and the students, as well as recognising incidents and medical situations, if and when they arise. All these activities help to ensure the teachers are as prepared as possible! 📈
The teachers also got to take part in an emergency first aid course. At the end of the course, the skills they had learnt were put to the test with some fake scenarios. Their response time and teamwork were tested as well as the practical skills they had picked up during the day. ⛑️
The teacher training weekend was a great success and proved to be very useful for all the teachers heading off this summer on their expeditions! 🌍️

As it's only a few days until Christmas and the countdown is well and truly on, we wanted to spread our favourite festive messages that continue all year round, but are especially important during Christmas 🎄

We are all so much more capable than we think we are, and being united as a team with those around us we can do more to achieve a sustainable future for all 🌱
🌟 CHEER - Who doesn't love some festive cheer?! Whatever time of year, a positive attitude goes a lot further than you may think. We always pride ourselves in supporting projects with the most positive outcome, and we like to bring a smile to every day that we're working on UN SDG aligned projects 🙌🏼
🌟 ADVENTURE - What's Camps without adventure?! We have always been adventure lovers and seekers, and we know that this will always continue! Whether we're on safari in Tsavo, building water storage containers in Cambodia, or scuba diving in Borneo, it's all part of the adventure of life 🤩
