Emma & Philine (Medicine 🩺Netherlands 🇳🇱) moved mountains to get to Tanzania! It was so amazing seeing them make the most of each moment and being so kind and vibrant everywhere they go. They left such a big impression on us, who can ever forget these two? They will have incredible medical careers and we celebrate them 🎉
We couldn’t have asked for two more amazing Midwifery Student Interns this past month. If you see them, you will always hear laughter or happy voices as this is the kind of energy they carry. They also invented the Mtoto Dance helping labouring Mama’s naturally induce labour; they assisted in Obstetrics and supported families during heartbreaking loss of pregnancies. We hope the love they have for people and their respect snd dedication to the midwifery never changes. Yasmina & Julie, asanteni sana 🎉
The team visited a Maasai Village peacefully nestled away, to learn more about the native culture. They were met by the real caretakers of the land, the people who live in such harmony with their environment. An important exploration in understanding the land they are visiting.
