Lovely Loch Muick on the Balmoral Estate 😍
Found at the foot of Lochnagar a fantastic mountain to climb or enjoy the walk around the loch at a lower level. The Glas-alt-Shiel bothy on the shores of the loch was built by Queen Victoria in 1868. She called it Glassalt translating to widow’s house where she would escape to following the death of her beloved husband Prince Albert.

Exciting times ahead with Nuart Aberdeen 💗

Aberdeen Inspired unveils which city walls are set to be transformed into works of art during Nuart Aberdeen.

Acclaimed street artist Hera is set to craft one of the largest murals ever created for Nuart Aberdeen on the walls of the Union Point building which towers above the city’s harbour.

And Aberdeen’s own KMG will set the street art festival soaring by working on walls at Aberdeen International Airport – meaning visitors will be welcomed at two of the Granite City’s strategic gateways by stunning Nuart murals.

Perfect for those planning a whirlwind tour of the city, the Flight of Fancy is flexible to suit your schedule, and takes place within a local craft distillery, and what's more fun than learning while you drink! 🥳

We invite you to taste our premium organic alcohol, single distillates of the botanicals used to make gin and a variety of locally distilled Aberdeen Gins. Concluding with a G&T of your choice. Alternative mixers are available.🍹

We say self-guided, though while we have material to guide you through your tasting, the owners will actually be on hand to answer any questions you might have about the gins or anything you'd like to know about the distillery, or even about Aberdeen. They love a good natter! 😇

Introduction to Automotive Upholstery! 🧵

Dates: 18th and 25th May, 15th and 22nd June
Times: 10am-4pm

📌 This 4-day course is designed to introduce the traditional skills required in car interior upholstery. We will cover basic sewing machine techniques, tools required, materials, templating, marking out, cutting, sewing. We will also cover borders or zips and piping, along with stuffing and fitting.
