It's not always about the products that help to solve noise issues within the workplace, it's finding out what is actually needed. This initial consultation is done by a qualified acoustician, who comes to your office, can assess the space and potential issues, and then discuss what is best for you (or your client). Once this is done, we can then decide whether sound masking is the best solution or one of our acoustic products.

There's an easy and simple way to remember the basic strategies of controlling noise (and creating a comfortable and productive working environment) - and it starts with ABC.

Last week we explained the A....ABSORPTION of sound waves before it reaches the listener’s ears, and now we move on to the B...

B - BLOCKING the right amount of sound.

This can be done by managing the noise and breaking up larger spaces using acoustically designed products in open plan spaces, for example. (www.resorb.co.uk). This will assist with stopping sound leaving, or entering, certain areas, thus creating quieter spaces.

There is obviously much more to it than this - there has been a vast amount of studies and research done, so our qualified acousticians are much better placed to discuss the ABC along with the solutions to your particular workplace issues.

Acoustic Consultants and Engineers will define acoustics as the science of sound, and there has been a huge amount of studies, research and testing done to enable them to solve potential acoustic problems for today's work place.

But there's an easy and simple way to remember the basic strategies of controlling noise (and creating a comfortable and productive working environment) - and it starts with ABC...

A - ABSORPTION of sound waves before it reaches the listener’s ears.

Absorption usually refers to a material or item that can absorb sound waves when they hit it, instead of reflecting them. There's obviously a lot more data and mathematics to it, but hopefully that explains the basic meaning and how it would work, with the right products, in an open plan office in particular.

We require an Installer, to work with and report to, the Lead Installer on the job at the time and to assist with installation of the office acoustic products and sound solutions, we sell to businesses here in the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities and Duties:
· Maintenance of tools, ensuring tools are clean and safe, replacement parts are ordered if required and keeping the tool log up to date
· Loading of transport prior to projects and keeping that vehicle cleaned and maintained to represent the business
· Installation of materials on client sites
· Maintenance of supplied H&S equipment
· Disposal of installation waste
· Organisation and tidiness of warehouse
