Player to Electronics Engineer in just one week!

How? Let’s take a look at our Minecraft Redstone Engineer course, starting with some key definitions:

Binary: A system of two states, for example yes or no, up or down, on or off and so on.

Digital: The academic realm where circuits are designed in a theoretical and abstract way.

Electronics: This brings digital designs to life! It involves building the designed circuits and using electronic components.

Logic Gates: These are the fundamental building blocks of digital circuits. They accept binary inputs and perform logical operations (like AND, OR or NOT) to produce a binary output.

And now the FunTech magic...

Our curriculum harnesses Redstone, the digital backbone of Minecraft, that teaches your child how to build and combine logic gates to create complex electronic circuits that mirror real-world electronics.

By the end of the week your child will have learnt the skills to create an impressive array of electronic gadgets all while thoroughly enjoying their time with us.

Game Development (or Game Dev) is the process of making a video game, from the start of an idea to the end where it is ready to play with others, and everything in between.

➡ Can my child learn Game Development?

Yes, we recommend it for ages 10 to 14. Your child will learn skills such as game fundamentals, coding concepts, character/actor logic, visual scripting, problem solving and logical thinking.

They will get hands-on with Unreal Engine, professional software that powers many AAA games such as Fortnite, The Matrix Awakens, Batman: Arkham City and many more.

What Does “GG” Mean in Roblox?

Roblox is one of the most popular platforms for kids and has even managed to develop its own set of unique words and acronyms.

So, what does “gg” mean in Roblox?

It’s actually quite simple.

If someone types “gg” into Roblox, it means “good game”. This has become a common phrase used at the end of a game to show respect and sportsmanship towards the other players you have been competing with.

Whilst “gg” in Roblox originated in the wider gaming community, “gg” has since transcended games and platforms, becoming a widely recognised term in online communication, not just Roblox.

However, despite “gg” in Roblox having an overly positive connotation, “gg” can also be used sarcastically or ironically.

1. Roblox Designer (ages 7 to 10)

Unleash your creativity and develop games with unlimited possibilities with our Roblox Studio lessons.

2. Roblox Lua Coder (ages 11 t0 16)

By learning Roblox Lua and scripting their own programs and systems, you can create your own unique games, including dynamic elements that change based on events during gameplay.
