It's chilly here in Inverness.
The day was bright and thankfully the snow stayed on the mountains.

As the sun was setting we came across the ancient stone circle circa 3500bc.

The power of the huge stone covered in years of lichen stood proud in the dimming light.
Beckoning us into amphitheatre, I've seen many stones circles, but can safely say there was a strong atmosphere within the inner sanctuary.
In two days its the Winter Solstice and guess where I'm going.
