We are very concerned that Wiltshire Council hasn't reviewed their position on this decision. Public funding is essential for VisitWiltshire to be part of new organisation structure of VisitEngland and VisitBritain. Without that status, Wiltshire will not be marketed by VisitEngland or VisitBritain and Wiltshire will not have access to government central funding.

What VisitWiltshire delivers would be difficult for a county council to deliver - they don't have the expertise, market reach or deep marketing skills - and would cost them more to do it than providing funding in the first place.

Whatever Wiltshire Council's plan is, we would love to hear it!
