In the travel industry, January is known as ‘Peaks’ as it’s traditionally the busiest holiday booking month. Christmas is over, the weather is rubbish and everyone is dreaming of a well-deserved holiday in the sun!
I must admit I wasn’t sure how this January would pan out with the constant doom and gloom in the press about the cost of living crisis, but research suggested that people will cut back on everything except holidays. It turns out those predictions were right and the enquiries are rolling in!
So, I thought this would be a good time to give a little overview of how I work….
✅ I’m totally independent and have no set sales targets, so my priority is finding the right holiday for you. To help me with this, we (Travel Counsellors) have contracts and partnerships with hundreds of suppliers and specialists around the world.
✅I take time to get to know you to make sure I get your holiday 100% right so that you come back time and time again. I do all the research, so you don’t have to. This is why I always ask for a chat on the phone before I begin work on your quote.
✅I’m available to talk to you at a time that suits you. I don’t work the standard 9-5 and you always deal with me directly – no big, impersonal call centres. Not only that, but if you need support in resort, our Duty Office is available 24/7.
✅I don’t charge fees – I earn commission when you’ve returned from your holiday.
✅Everything you book with me is 100% financially protected through ATOL and our Financial Trust.

Introducing Hosted Holidays
Hand-picked small group itineraries to amazing destinations.
Over the past year, I have been working with a small group of colleagues to develop Hosted Holidays with Travel Counsellors. We have worked with some of our favourite partners to carefully curate a selection of exciting small group holidays. Each trip will average 10-15 guests, and will be escorted by at least one Travel Counsellor who will oversee all of the details and be there to give added reassurance at this time.
The trips have been designed to allow you to socialise with the group if you wish, or to do your own thing if you prefer.
We will be hosting a series of zoom sessions over the coming weeks to tell you more about the specific trips, so take a moment to watch our short video showing you the dates and destinations that we have in the pipeline, and let me know if you are interested!
