Grosvenor Cottage - Seaside holiday cottage sleeps 4 comfortably. For your comfort, the number of dogs allowed depends on the size of dogs and number of people occupying the cottage. Full weeks Saturday to Saturday and short breaks of 3 or 4 nights also available. Two minutes walk from a long sandy beach, town centre and the start (or end) of the Tranpennine Trail. Great for the family, cyclists o

r runners due to off road tracks. The cottage is central heated with radiators in every room and a gas fire stove in the living room. It has an instant hot water boiler. There are smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs. The cottage is very comfortable and is really home from home with books, games, record player and Wii games console, games and 2 controllers. Comfortable sofas and beds with memory foam toppers for added comfort. All bedding is provided and the bathroom is stocked with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as toilet rolls. The kitchen is well stocked and includes cupboard non perishable basics like tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil and condiments. Downstairs :Kitchen, Living Room, bathroom and good sized hallway. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms, one with an ensuite toilet and sink. Secure garden with pond (please supervise small children), garden furniture, parasol and BBQ area. For your dog, there is a medium sized dog crate in the cottage together with dog bowls, old towels, throws, poo bags and treats. The garden has a high fence or hedge the whole way around. The hedge has mesh inbetween. The gate is 3 foot high and if required can be adapted to make higher (around 5 foot). Towels and tea towels are not provided - please take your own

Also available are beach chairs, windbreaks, buckets spades, beach games and boogy boards - even sledges for snowy weather, umberella and raincoats. Driveway for off street parking. Our aim is to provide everything you and your dogs need for a lovely relaxing holiday.

Welcome to Grosvenor Cottage.

Park up on the drive and don't use the car again if you don't want to.

A garden great for everyone, including dogs- with mesh inbetween our hedges making it a great place to relax after a day on the beach (2 minutes walk away) or roaming around the Mere, parks and town with dog friendly bars, cafes and fabulous independant shops.
Come enjoy Hornsea, you won't be disappointed- it's beautiful ❤️

Now I never knew the Yorkshire Belle, which sails from Bridlington on the coast, spotting birds at Bempton, including Puffins at this time of year and dolphins, was Dog 🐕 friendly. Fancy that! A fabulous trip and only 25 minutes from Hornsea by car to Bridlington

Traditional May celebrations come to Hornsea Museum. Join us for Morris & maypole dancing, a procession, children's fancy dress competition, picnic in the garden, crowning of our May King & Queen, cream teas and a ceilidh at the Town Hall! £2.00 ticket - in advance from our shop or on the day. More details and a programme to follow. Beverley Garland Dancers will be one of the morris 'sides' providing traditional entertainment.

When I advertise 2 minutes from the dog friendly all year beach and town with dog friendly independent shops, cafes, bars, pubs and takeaways, 2 minutes from 2 parks and the local swimming pool and 2 minutes from a vets - I always think how can that be........ it's true, Grosvenor Cottage and Lobster Pot are absolutely in the best possible locations for everything in Hornsea!

Whether it's a walk to the dog friendly pubs, a walk to the Mere or supermarket we found the perfect spots for your holiday. AND you can't get more dog friendly with secure gardens and no house restrictions, so we're just perfect for you, your family or friends.

Sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms we're perfect for families and friends. 2 minutes from the beach and town with secure garden and parking. No dog restrictions or charges. Lots there for a very easy visit including boogy boards, wet suits and beach equipment....oh and lots of dog essentials too.

If it's a fabulously good value meal you're looking for there's often 2 for 1's at the Marine on the front and Luciens have a great beer garden with live bands and pizzas. All are dog friendly and definitely somewhere great to eat.

Hornsea Biker event- Sunday 18 August

Hundreds of motorbikes decend on Hornsea Hallgarth Park on Sunday 18 August for a spectacular day. With the park transformed with stalls, food wagons and music. The bikes are all displayed in an area and you can mingle with some amazing pieces from quads to vintage and all beautifully cared for. Chrome City 😀
