UKMASTERCLASS offer inspiring and empowering classes for children, young people and pre-professionals allowing them the opportunity to meet leading figures from DANCE & THEATRE. Our goal is to provide excellent and engaging educational classes from some of the finest professionals in the UK today. All masterclasses offer the opportunity to improve technical skills, to challenge and inspire the lea
rning experience, to meet new people and share the experience of a lifetime. Some masterclasses will include a Q&A session where students and spectators will be given the opportunity to ask the tutor questions. UKMASTERCLASS is created by Josephine Holling and Raymond Koning. Josephine trained at White Lodge and the Royal Ballet Upper School before entering the Royal Ballet Company at 17. While still studying at the Upper School Josephine performed Swan Lake in London and New York with the compnay which why this upcoming Swan Lake masterclass is close to her heart. The range of repertoire she performed with The Royal Ballet included contemporary works such as Grosse Fugue and Septet Extra by Hans Van Manen to Balanchine's Allegro Brilliante. At present Josephine is an examiner for the DaDa Awards provided by Trinity College London and teaching and coaching extensively in London in particular at Young Dancers Acdemy. Raymond Koning studied dance at the Rotterdamse Dans Academy now called CODARTS in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) and at the Hungarian Ballet State Academy in Budapest (Hungary). Raymond danced as a freelance dancer of classical ballet, contemporary and musical theatre for many years in Italy. He is also a highly qualified and experienced ballet teacher. Currently Raymond is teaching at Millenium Performing Arts school. Inspiring young artists is our mission.
