The Capotaormina Hotel ~ it's location is unrivalled ~ perched on a rocky promontory below Taormina town its gorgeous secluded bay has iconic views over Isola Bella and on the opposite side there is an infinity pool with views over the bay of Toarmina and magnificent Mount Etna. I'm here for a couple of days to collect myself after a long journey. Tomorrow I'll be returning to the Aeolian Islands.

Living there, most mornings I would cycle to the foot of rhe volcano to catch the sunrise ~ I'd often be alone which is magical

The Aeolian Islands are a group of seven volcano islands scattered off the Northeastern tip of Sicily ~ they where designated a UNESCO world herritage as an area of outstanding natural beauty ~ I organise culinary adventures, island hopping around these gorgeous islands all with the collaboration of the local people ~ I also put together tailor-made itineraries which allow you to experience the best these gorgeous have to offer. What to expect on our amazing Aeolian Adventures culinary holidays in Sicily and the gorgeous Aeolian Islands ~ vineyard visits, wine tastings and perfect pairings. There are 13 wonderful micro producers on Salina alone ~ with many family businesses that have been handed down through generations and all set amongst wild and rugged natural beauty in idyllic locations. I've set two dates for my Aeolian Adventures holidays next year but there is the possibility of additional dates on request.

Morning light on Stromboli ~ I'm spending some time in the Aeolian Islands at the moment visiting friends and colleagues ~ it's the end of the season and people have more time to chat ~ next year I will be running my all-inclusive gastronic holldays again 'Aeolian Adventures' from Catania to Mount Etna and on to the gorgeous Aeolian Islands ~ where we’ll be island hopping by private boat, sea swimming, cooking with the locals, out to sea with the fishermen night time fishing for squid as a a grand finale a trip to Stromboli where we'll visit the island and also experience the night time eruptions on the Stromboli Volcano all by private boat.
