What a beautiful day on the sunshine Isle.☀️Culver Down is a chalk down to the north of Sandown, Isle of Wight. The down has a typical chalk downland wildlife on the uncultivated areas. A perfect place for a picnic or an ice cream from the Culver kiosk (highly recommended)

Excellent afternoon at Arreton Barns looking at admiring these beautiful steam engines and tractors ❤️. Arreton Barns is so easy to get to from and should definitely be on list of places to visit.

2024 EVENTS: Pier2Pier Sea Swim Isle of Wight 🏊‍♀️

The Pier2Pier Sea Swim is a 1.8 mile open water event organised by the Isle of Wight Marlins Swim Club. The swim starts adjacent to Sandown Pier and goes from Sandown to Shanklin, a stunning stretch of coastline lined by dramatic sandstone cliffs. The race ends on the beach outside Shanklin Rowing Club, which is located by the site of the old Shanklin Pier that was destroyed in the gales of 1987.

All independent and club swimmers, skins and wetsuit swimmers are welcome.
