⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I had a wonderful time in Norway where I had a chance to try out classic cross country skiing for the first time. This is something I’d always wanted to do, and thanks to Gutsy Girls I could do it in a safe environment, where everyone was well looked after.

Our host Susanne made sure that everyone had a nice time and there was great communication throughout the trip. 

Thanks to our wonderful instructor (Ursula) I now feel inspired to come back again next season to enjoy more of the beautiful scenery and improve my new found skills. 

The accomodation was everything that I expected and more. Welcoming, friendly family atmosphere with great food. Can’t wait to go back!”

Join us in the wilderness for a week of going offline ❄️

Stay in a cosy remote off-grid cabin, heated by wood burning stoves and lit by candles 🕯️

Each day we’ll venture out to learn how to backcountry ski, discovering beautiful trails and building our skills ready for an overnight expedition!

For one night we’ll camp out in the snow, don’t worry too quality tents and sleeping bags are provided to keep you toasty ⛺️

In the evenings we’ll unwind with sauna and refreshing ice bath in the frozen lake 🧊

This is the perfect retreat to introduce beginners to wilderness adventures, it’s wild but comfortable 💁‍♀️

We’ll snowshoe, fat bike and cross country ski through snow covered forests 🌲 led by passionate local guides you’ll learn all about the nature and traditions of Finland 🇫🇮

Each night we’ll unwind in a sauna and for those who dare, take ice baths in the frozen lake 🥶

We’re so excited to bring a brand-new winter sport to the Gutsy Girls lineup! After trying it out last year, we know that skate skiing is going to be a huge hit with our community.

Who Will Love This Trip?

This trip is designed for active women who are up for a challenge and keen to try something new!

🇸🇪Where We’ll Be Heading

We’re off to Bruksvallarna, Sweden – the training base for the Swedish national team! With over 300 km of tracks, perfect snow, and incredible views, it’s the ideal place to dive into skate skiing and see what this sport is all about!

🏔️Where We’ll Be Staying

We’ll be staying at our favorite family-run hotel tucked away in the mountains. It’s the perfect retreat after a day on the trails, complete with a sauna, a lake for a refreshing ice baths and delicious food that will fuel you for each day’s adventure.

Small delay in getting our summer trips online 😬

Couple of reasons why:

🌎 Some of the team went on a holiday of their own - Bex to Spain ☀️ Nat to Vermont 🍂 and Mandy is off to Croatia today 👏

🤩 We have exciting new winter trips to that we’ve been working on - Nat’s obsessed with snow adventures

☀️ Our summer season is still running - last trip this weekend in Norway 🇳🇴

💻 We revamped our website 🙌 Thank you Evie!

📥 Our inbox is overflowing - many of you asking about summer 2025 🫠 and us trying to find you availability on our winter trips, which are filling fast! It’s keeping Bea very busy👩‍💻 ☕️

👯‍♀️ We are still a small team behind the scenes

🥴 Nat randomly picks dates as deadlines, but thankfully we now have Cleo as a project manager 🫶

✈️ We have to wait for flight schedules before we pick dates⏳🧮 Then we spend hours trying to choose options that align with options from across the UK

🚀 Norway Hiking and Yoga Retreats will be the first to launch, maybe by the end of next week but that’s Nat choosing a deadline 🤷‍♀️
