I have a special trip planned for the summer.
Sadly one of my mates has had to pull out at short notice.
This trip is a bit off the map - the plan is to explore NE from Sermiligaq with the potential of getting into Lake Fjord, which is where Gino Watkins died in 1932.
It is a small team who have all been in Greenland with me before, we hope to have a boat drop off and pick up in Sermiligaq to fully maximise our time away on trip.
Although I have taken teams into Lake Fjord before, the aim of this adventure is to explore some remote fjords and locations i have not visited before.
Obviously everything is dependent on the weather and ice conditions.
Dates are 28th June to 13th July.
We hope to do a name change on existing flights.

George and I are both working in Antarctica this season.
However he is guiding on the famous IceBird.
A purpose built ice yacht with an impressive pedigree.
What an awesome experience.
We look forward to hearing about his many amazing adventures in the weeks to come.

I am currently guiding in Antarctica but will be back in the spring.
My East Greenland trips this summer are all pretty much booked and there has been a lot of enquiries for next season 2025.

Sermilik has the second most active glacier calving into the ocean.
Helheim Glacier produces icebergs the size of villages and is one of our destinations.
