Asiatours has changed its name to TourCompass!🎉✨

Today is World Animal Day! The theme is 'shared planet' and the focus is on improving the welfare standard for animals around the world, from pets to exotic wildlife. 🐼🐯

Increasingly, travelers are choosing holidays based on how animal-friendly they are. We follow the guidelines of World Animal Protection and thereby say no to all entertainment with wild animals in captivity. It makes us very proud to say that all of our tours are classified as animal friendly. 💖

Today is World Tiger Day 🐯

World Tiger Day is celebrated as a way to raise awareness about this magnificent but endangered big cat. Asiatours is passionate about wildlife and the conservation efforts to save it. We are in cooperation with World Animal Protection and are committed to protecting animal welfare. Therefore we say no to all entertainment with wild animals in captivity.

🐅Tigers are the largest wild cats in the world.
🐅Tigers are good swimmers.
🐅At full speed, tigers can reach up to 65km/h.
🐅Not two tigers have the same stripes.
🐅Less than 100 years ago, tigers could be found throughout Asia.

In southern Vietnam, you’ll find Ho Chi Minh City, which is still often referred to by its old name, Saigon.

Before the 17th century, Ho Chi Minh City was a small port. Today, it is Vietnam’s largest city.

The traffic can seem particularly overwhelming the first time you visit the city, but look beyond that and you’ll be rewarded with an incredibly exciting and modern city. This is seen in the city’s buildings, which are a good mix of old and new – modern high-rise buildings in glass and well-preserved colonial buildings.

Just south of Hue is Hoi An, a beautiful, charming city. You may have seen some beautiful pictures of lanterns in the old district of this town?

Hoi An was one of the most important ports in this part of South-East Asia from the 17th to the 19th century, and today it is also one of the best-preserved historical towns in Asia, partly because it escaped the bombing during the Vietnam War.

Today, the old district is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The building style in the area testifies to Japanese, Chinese and Indian influences.
