A Fantastic Evening at Fulham’s Brand-New Hospitality: The Dugout

On Thursday evening, we had the privilege of experiencing Fulham’s brand-new hospitality offering, The Dugout. It was a fantastic experience—one I would gladly do again.

We were warmly greeted at the reception of Craven Cottage and guided around the pitch to the impressive new Riverside Stand. At the entrance of The Dugout, we met Antonia, who checked us in and directed us downstairs to the foyer of the lounge. There, we received our wristbands and a matchday programme, adding a nice touch to the experience.

As we entered the lounge, we were welcomed with a choice of bubbly or a selection of cocktails—including an espresso martini, my personal favorite. Naturally, I went straight for the espresso martini, the perfect pick-me-up after our journey!

The lounge itself had a mix of regular tables and high-top tables with bar stools, creating a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere. We helped ourselves to some olives and nuts as we settled in, and the friendly matchday staff circulated with an array of delicious small plates. These included fish and chips, mac and cheese, mini hot dogs, beef wraps, and an indulgent bread and butter pudding to round off the flavors perfectly.

As we sipped on more drinks, we were treated to entertaining FA Cup stories from a couple of ex-Fulham players who were in attendance—a wonderful touch to the overall experience.

When it was time for the match, we headed to our padded seats, located just behind the dugout. The view was exceptional—offering a close-up perspective of the pitch, the managers, and the players in action.

At halftime, we returned to the lounge for a warm cup of tea and a muffin, which was perfect for recharging before the second half. Of course, all drinks remained available and were part of the package.

We thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the game, especially with a Fulham win! To wrap up the evening, we indulged in a final nightcap before beginning our journey home.

Overall, The Dugout package offered excellent value for money and an intimate connection to the action both on the pitch and in the dugout. It’s an experience I would highly recommend for any football fan seeking something a little extra special!
