Just back from our first family skiing holiday in Borovets Bulgaria and I think it is safe to say that it won’t be our last.
We all had a great time and can’t wait to get on the slopes again!

Borovets has all levels of skiing or snowboarding covered, with a range of accommodation to choose from, flexible durations, airports and times to suit and and with only just over an hours transfers it’s ideal.

Day 5 Cannes - We did the Le Petit Train tour which was really good and informative covered the old and new town. After, we explored abit more on foot, walked around the marina looking at all the amazing yachts (Hoping to do some celeb spotting but to no avail) the is a gorgeous beach, promenade and streets full of shops from high street names through to top end designer shops.

Day 6 At sea - Spending the day at sea was lovely just to sit and relax on the sun deck but there was plenty of other activities on offer like movies, games, trivia’s, scavenger hunts and of course the spa/gym facilities are available.
We have had lots of great evening entertainment from the amazing Celebrity Edge singers & dancers to evening shows from Magical Bones and UKEBOX

Day 3 we were in stunning Portofino which was such a gorgeous place,narrow little streets, cafes and shops, simply stunning.

Day 4 was in a very hot La Spezia, here you can do trips to Florence and/or Pisa but we choose to have a little wander around the marina of La Spezia and do some shopping and have a cool drink in one of the many little street cafes.
Finished off as we sailed away with a gorgeous sunset with the Edge’s Magic Carpet in view.

I am currently on the lovely Celebrity Edge, we joined the ship in Civitavecchia but decided to fly out a day earlier and visit afew of the many sight in Rome first.
We are now on Day 2 and woke up to a lovely view of the gorgeous Ajaccio in Corsica, we got off and had a little walk around the town as everything here is close to the port and all within walking distance, which is nice if you don’t fancy doing one of the many excursions offered by the ship.

We are now back onboard and going to spend sometime this afternoon relaxing on one of the Sun decks. There is plenty of space, either choose to be near the pool or in one of many quiet spots elsewhere on deck. 😎

A strike has just been announced at the passport office that could last 5 weeks from April into May.

If you are travelling this year and your passport needs renewing, I would recommend getting your passports in quick to avoid getting delayed.

Also, remember passport validity rules have changed now when travelling to EU countries!
