The incredible magic of the Maasai Mara 🐘
As a child a life long dream to visit, then I was lucky enough to work there for 5 years and now still my favourite place to go.
There is no where else quite like it.
And for those who have heard about overcrowding and too many vehicles..
- the Maasai Mara National Reserve have now banned all self drive vehicles
- there are some incredible conservancies around the reserve such as Mara North, Mara Triangle, Naibosho which have all the amazing wildlife and only the lodges game vehicles which abide by the only 4 vehicles per sighting rule and are very respectful of the animals
- The Mara only really gets busy during the great migration (July - September) and Christmas time so book for the shoulder season and you can enjoy this wildlife haven without the crowds.
