Valencia Region Golf courses reopening
The regional government has announced the ease of restrictions in the Valencian territory, including those affecting the golf courses and other sport facilities.
The desired reopening of the golf courses is scheduled for March 1st. After a period of several days “training at home”, it’s the moment to return to the greens. And we come back stronger, with new dreams and loads of positive energy, with the buggies’ batteries charged to the top, the greens smooth as silk and ready to paint a smile on the faces of the golf lovers. Over 30 golf courses in the Region of Valencia have been working during these days in the maintenance of their facilities and are now ready to share with the visitors the most pleasent moments of golf under hours and hours of sunshine. Valencia Region Tourist Board and the Costa Blanca and Valencia Region Golf Course Association, are in constant communication and continue sustaining their relationship to keep on growing as one of the best golf destination in the Mediterranean.

GOLF is BACK in SPAIN....Course to re-open Tuesday March 2nd 2021...
Notes from Bonalba Golf, Alicante, Costa Blanca...

Dear Golf Friends;
We are delighted to announce that after today´s announcement of the easing of restrictions Bonalba Golf will reopen for play on Tuesday the 2nd March.
During the recent extension of the closure we completed the early maintenance of the greens which normally takes place in late May thus ensuring uninterrupted Golf from now until through the Summer.
Unfortunately we are unable to open the Cafeteria and Restaurant until April but we are planning the sale of basic refreshments in the Golf Shop in the short term.
The Covid19 protocols are still in place and we ask all of your players to continue to respect them as before to ensure the safety of all and the enjoyment of your Golf Round.
Our Low Season prices will continue through March and we will make an announcement on the rest of our Spring programme later next week.
If any of your members want to enjoy additional golf and test their WHS Handicap, we have the Bonalba WHS Series which will take place every Wednesday and the Liga Senior 2021 starting on Friday 5th March. Coastal Golf Travel Limited was formed in 2016 by Managing Director Neale Egen, whose vision as a keen golfer was to build upon his own 20 years’ experience of booking golf breaks for friends and family and offer a simple, flexible golf travel service, ran by individuals with genuine local and golfing knowledge.

“Year-after-year, I regularly sought out good value accommodation to meet the varying needs and budgets of our party members, in locations that suited the time of year, distance from our chosen golf course(s) and proximity to any nearby nightlife, entertainment or attractions as required. I would carefully choose golf courses and appropriate tee times to accommodate all player levels, maximise the golfing experience on a range of course types and also ensure that we never had to spend too long travelling between our accommodation and chosen golf courses. However, I frequently encountered problems when trying to find a single travel company that would (a) take all of our considerations into account, (b) posess the local and golfing knowledge that would make life easier for us on each trip, especially in areas that were new to us, and (c) work with me personally year-on-year, as our players and their requirements changed.” Neale Egen, Managing Director
