Co-founded by Philip Bloom, Shadows and Light responds to the need in the UK and wider Europe for an event that can bring together our growing community of one-man-band filmmakers and small productions companies. At Shadows and Light, filmmakers can share knowledge and experience, as well as learn the latest filmmaking techniques and trends from a stellar array of expert international speakers

ou can see from our agenda that speakers cover a diverse range subjects such as lighting, storytelling techniques, the business side of being a successful filmmaker, camera movement and working with limited gear. You’ll learn a lot. You’ll meet a lot of like-minded creatives. And probably have a lot of fun.
