It's been a busy time despite the awful weather, rain,gales , frost, grey skies, will the sun ever shine. Work continues on c9 the bilges have been scrubbed and cleaned thanks to Christine ready for the finale fitting of the new flooring. Our stem head roller is finally back from alterations to allow easy launching and recovery of our 32kg Delta anchor. Now fitted and working as it should. Removed the last of the worn out teak from the bathing platform ready for fixing the new flexi teak one .

Thats the sail drive out for a new gaiter to be fitted, we're also replacing the propeller shaft and seals at the same time hopefully will be ready to fit in a couple of weeks

We're getting Cloud Nine ready for winter with lots of upgrades under way , new storm jib ordered along with new upholstery for the aft cabins. Hopefully we won't see as much Snow as this

Cloud Nine has been getting around in the last few weeks visiting west loch Tarbert on Jura out to Barra then Rum before returning to Oban. She then went back to Barra and is now at anchor in the Monach Islands hoping for a weather window that will allow them to reach St Kilda before heading for Stornoway and its only April!

After a smooth and sociable trip north via the beautiful Crinan Canal, Cloud Nine is now back in Oban for the coming charter season! We look forward to welcoming our clients!

Spring is here - how do we know? Because today we antifouled Cloud Nine! Upgrades include Raymarine Axiom Chart Plotter with AIS overlays, new heavier anchor, total rewire, 6 new batteries, new cabin light inclusive of USB ports. We are excited about our return to Oban to welcome new and returning clients!

Spring is here! How do we know - because we've antifouled Cloud Nine today.
Other upgrades include: new Raymarine Chart Plotter with AIS overlay capability, new cabin lights with USB ports, complete rewiring and a new, heavier anchor.
We are excited to be heading back to Oban early April to welcome both regular and new clients!

Winter maintenance is well underway. Currently wiring in a new chart plotter which will allow, amongst other things, the Vesper AIS to be displayed on the chartplotter; replaced six 135 amp hour batteries and the pulpit is now off in order to have two studs replaced.
