Yes, it's Sunday but I'm at my desk today booking holidays for you lovely lot.

I had a gorgeous Christmas Day and enjoyed some festive downtime on either side. Now, I find myself firmly in that "Chrimbo Limbo" zone.

Crowning a wooded headland at the tip of Marigot Bay, this is a stunningly sited luxury villa in St Lucia, with acres of gardens, a twenty-metre swimming pool and a path down the shore.

A magical mix of Caribbean cool, Italian flair and touches of rustic chic, Villa Susanna is a glorious one-off, served by a team of staff. With interiors as calm and uncluttered as its gardens are bright and luxuriant, the villa’s dark wood floors meet timber terraces through full window walls, blurring the edges of indoor/outdoor living; while its three acres of oceanfront grounds are liberally sprinkled with lawns and patios furnished for peaceful idling. A bridge crosses the infinity pool to a gorgeous gazebo look-out point, and a footpath leads to the sand and pebble Trou Rolland cove, thoughtfully equipped for beach barbecues.

In a great layout for groups, the villa comprises five buildings, the largest housing a modern breakfast kitchen open to an al fresco dining terrace, and a huge split level living room with raftered ceiling, arty lighting, big sofas and a refectory table. With a good mix of twin, king and four-poster rooms, all with TV and air conditioning, there is one guest apartment near the main house, and each of three cottages has two en suite bedrooms connected by a living room with wet bar, the master cottage enjoying a private sun deck with whirlpool bath.

As part of the large, successful Travel Counsellors community, many people don’t realize that I am actually self-employed, running my own small business. I work independently, which is why when I thank you for bookings, referrals, shares, and support, I truly mean it.

I don’t receive an hourly wage, my time is incredibly valuable, and I choose to spend it helping the clients who support and trust me.
I often receive messages from people who haven’t booked with me, asking about passport validity, general travel advice or asking for my help because they're unable to get in touch with the online booking agent that they'd booked with. While I’m passionate about travel and love offering guidance wherever I can, my priority must always be to the clients who’ve chosen to book with me.

A day of Sun, scenery & wine!

We woke up to some gorgeous sunshine and decided to take full advantage of it. After a lovely breakfast, we set off for a walk around the lake. The still water and surrounding greenery is the most perfect atmosphere for exploring.

Our next stop was fabulous Vilamoura Marina. We had a little stroll and found a cute little place to sit and have coffee and watch the world go by.

Lunchtime was another treat. We dined at Estrella, a beautiful restaurant perched on the lakeside. The food was as incredible as the views.

After lunch we had fun and informative wine tasting session (which is complimentry with your stay FYI) We tried several local varieties, each more delicious than the last, and it was the perfect way to spend the afternoon (again all in the name of research)

All in all, it was a perfect mix of nature, good food, and fine wine!

I have almost eight years' experience in the Travel industry arranging a wide range of holidays including Worldwide trips, tailormade journeys, weddings, honeymoons, cruise, ski, first and business class travel, staff incentive trips and much more.
