Time to start mulching those hardy perennials that may be affected by heavy frost. A good covering of peat or straw will stop the roots freezing.

Grass cutting has now ended but still plenty to be done in the garden. mountains of leafs are never ending this time of year so keep them raked off the lawn

Time to start dead headed all the shrubs and plants that need it, this ensures good growth and a good bloom for next season.

It's getting to the time of the year where you should be getting you're lawn ready for winter, taking all the weeds out of the lawn if you have any and start lifting the cutting height on the mower, this will ensure the frost does not damage if we get any overnight.
