It's been a bit windy at Glebe Holiday Cottage, near Padstow, and sadly the fence has succumb. But it could have been much worse 🙏😊

Thankfully our power supply was only out for a few hours, but there's still lots of homes and businesses without power today. I hope it's restored soon - thanks to the great team of engineers working all hours in this terrible weather 👌🌧⚡️💦💪

Next time you are in North Cornwall, take a trip on the Black Tor passenger ferry between Padstow and Rock.

Get a lovely treat in Padstow to eat on Rock beach, and then walk off the calories with a stroll to Daymer Bay. Perfect 👌

We will be hosting a series of 'Cold Water Swim Deals' throughout the next few months. Enjoy a Cold Water Dip 🥶 followed by a Hot Chocolate & Sea-View Lunch for £20 per head.

Here's another lovely walk to do when you're on holiday at Glebe Holiday Cottage, near Padstow

Distance: 3.5 miles
Steepness grade: moderate

A short circular walk from Padstow harbour to the viewpoints at the War Memorial and Victorian obelisk, the Elizabethan Manor at Prideaux Place, and including some pretty backstreets that lie off the main tourist routes.

We had a lovely day playing golf with friends yesterday. There's always a fantastic welcome at the club, and I loved my full english breakfast (a must for any athlete) 🤣. The course was in superb condition, and as an extra bonus, there was hardly any wind - the Camel was like a mill pond.

Can't wait to be back 👍😍⛳️🏌‍♀️
