Another Polzeath sunset and another empty beach walk. Last one for a while as we travel back and Emily and her family move in for the week. Everything crossed that they enjoy the same wall to wall sunshine that we have had.

The rattan corner sofa wasn’t destined to live with us (long story) and has been replaced by Sturdi table and benches. It’s much more comfortable than it looks and seats 8 easily. Looking forward to many more suppers, barbecues and breakfasts and I can confirm it’s been well tested this week

Not often I photograph food but something special about lobster from Jan at Rock Fish, asparagus from St Enodoc, 2 miles away and new potatoes from Restharrow farm 2 miles away. Wine from Sainsbury’s!

The Old Sailors performing at Surf Side

Fabulous fun evening at Surf Side on Polzeath beach. The Old Sailors, a 17 piece band will be there every other Monday through the summer. Lots of other live music there in next few weeks
