I’ve just had a call from my customer who’s currently on a tailor made trip to Thailand and Singapore. Thinking that something might have happened, my heart missed a beat.
She’s been at the Amari in Koh Samui for a good few days now, but this call was completely the opposite to my immediate reaction - her video was on, with a full walk-around the pools and hotel, customer insisting on showing me how happy she is with my choice of hotel for her budget. She said that the beach is white, the weather is hot, no rain despite it being being ‘that season’, the place is peaceful and the staff just can’t do enough.
She travelled alone- I guided her along with documents fully explained and printed, airport check - ins completed, transfers arranged and the odd message to check on her, and she arrived safe and sound. Having me at her side for the arrangements and guidance certainly helped her.
Meeting her daughter there to do some travelling together will certainly be a memory making experience.
Next stops are Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Singapore.
What a lovely call, it’s set me up for the day!

These wonderful photos perfectly capture the few days spent by my customers at The Ekutheleni Lodge, South Africa.

Standing sentinel over the savanna, at the foot of a rocky ridge in the centre of Welgevonden Game Reserve, Ekuthuleni Lodge offers guests a classic safari experience. This elegant property has five standalone suites complimented by generous indoor and outdoor living spaces and expansive views of a bustling waterhole. It’s ideal for couples as well as groups of family and friends.

An easy 3 hr road trip from Johannesburg International Airport, no off-road bumpy tracks to impair the journey. The transfers can be arranged.
The wildlife was phenomenal, the food and drink exquisite, accommodation very comfortable and the staff very attentive.
The customers had the most memorable time, further enhanced by an add-on beach break in Mauritius. Simply perfect.

Thankyou to my lovely customers Robbie and Helen who have just returned from the USA. They enjoyed Washington, Philadelphia and New York with Amtrak trains between the cities. The trip culminated with a New England and Canada cruise.

There can be so much more to a resort based holiday. Activities and experiences heighten your enjoyment and provide unforgettable memories.
During my few days at Costa Navarino we did the most enjoyable bike ride to one of the world's most amazing beaches - Voidokilia Beach.
We cycled around the Gialova Lagoon where rare species of bird can be found on their migration route, and the only kind of chameleon in Europe. We were so lucky to see Flamingos wading in the lagoon.
The destination and highlight was the spectacular beach, where you can also climb for a beautiful view of the bay.
Bikes and guides are available to rent, along with hiking, and climbing experiences.
We also enjoyed an authentic Greek cooking evening where we helped to prepare dinner, and danced to traditional Greek music afterwards. The Greek house offered the most amazing views from the hillside to Navarino Bay and close to the lovely little town of Pilos.
Other activities on offer are yoga, tennis, padel, star gazing, outdoor cinemas, gyms, spas and of course golf at its award winning courses.
Children are catered for with a children’s club at The Westin (accepted from 4 months), children’s pools with slides, bowling alley, gaming areas, basket ball court and sports clubs/coaching.

I currently have the privilege of staying at Costa Navarino. The 45 minute drive from Kalamata airport on the Greek mainland through the picturesque olive groves makes for a pleasant introduction to the region. Costa Navarino features four 5 star hotels (The Romanos Luxury Collection, The Westin Resort, W Costa Navarino and Mandarin Oriental).
For golfers, there are 4 signature and award winning golf courses, wellness centres, restaurants and bars, and a wide range of indoor, outdoor and water sports activities. Costa Navarino also features an NBA Basketball School, a tennis centre, football camps, shops, meting spaces, children’s activities and facilities and an open air cinema.
There is a hotel to wow and suit everyone whether travelling with a significant other, a group of friends or with your children. The sites are connected either by virtue of being in close proximity or by shuttle bus.
Here, the Romanos stuns with its variety of pools, restaurants and beautiful grounds.

This is a review by a customer who recently travelled to Canada. I tailor made the trip. The family utilised trains, hire car and domestic flights to travel their way between Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, the beaches and national park of Prince Edward Island, and Winnipeg. I know they were overjoyed with the price and what I was able to fit in.
Although not highlighted here, when I was told 'I'd made a dream come true' for her to visit the home of Anne of Green Gables, I was overwhelmed and full of pride and happiness.
