Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th July 2024 Bay Walk
ARNSIDE TO GRANGE - MICHAEL WILSON
The walk will be confirmed it is going ahead on the Friday around midday we will post all updates here on Facebook
Please can all walkers be in Arnside at least 1 hour before and register with who you have booked with.
Don't forget to pop into Sandpipers Arnside for a nice hot or chilled drink and a snack before the walk!
Michael & I will be outside of the Albion Pub on the slipway.
Walkers are to dress accordingly for the weather
All walkers must be physically fit and able to walk at least 8 mile at ease
You WILL get wet walking through the River Kent
Barefoot is highly recommend once we meet the tractors on the sand as the River Crossing is SOFT in areas and barefoot is best!
Lightweight clothing is essential / waterproofs / sunhat / sun cream /simple first aid kit for yourself / chocolate bar / water / snacks
There will be a 15 minute break weather permitting once we have crossed the River
Dogs are allowed on the walk however if your dog runs off we will NOT stop the walk or go to find it so please bear this in mind
The tractors are there for emergency vehicles only so if your tired , need a rest or finding it hard please inform one of our team and they will assist you onto the tractor
All of our team will be wearing yellow marshall jumpers, your Guide Michael will be wearing a blue hoodie
Briefing will be at the walk start time all walkers must attend once the briefing has finished the walk will begin once Michael blows his whistle.
