That’s a wrap for our summer holiday programme including our multi sports club & tennis coaching sessions. Massive thank you to the team of coaches & volunteers for all of their support and help and of course to all of the children & parents. Here are some of our activities. Look forward to hopefully seeing you in October if not before.

We still have some spaces left for our New Girls INTRO to tennis at Henley in Arden Tennis club for 5-10yrs (who are new to tennis). The 6hr programme aims to make tennis fun and relaxed so girls can develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Summer holiday week 2 complete.

Check out all of our videos & pictures (comments section) as we had some great activities including cheerleading with Sophia Michiko. We also had nerf wars and because it was so hot it would have been a shame not to do some Water Olympic Games!

For Week 3 (Mon 5th to Fri 9th August) we have planned -

- Tue Dance 🕺 afternoon with CaZest
- Wed cheerleading afternoon with Sophia again
- Thurs - football ⚽️ afternoon & Nerf wars (late pick up option)

Yesterday we held our match week session with Team France 🇫🇷 vs Spain 🇪🇸. It was 1-1 in the end but today maybe it should be England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 vs Netherlands 🇳🇱? Who will win??

A great day at Wimbledon yesterday & nice to see some familiar faces. Hope you have all managed to follow some of it.

Our final weekend of summer team matches for the henley players saw us playing some great tennis.
Firstly, we had our 8u mini red team who lost overall to a strong Leamington team but had some really close games. Then the boys 14u also came across a very strong team this time from Knowle & Dorridge. Then finally our 10u Mini Green team won all of their matches against Beechwood. Well done to everyone who has played over the summer & thanks to all your support

Another fantastic day for the players from henley & Warwick yesterday at the Rothesay classic in Birmingham. We had some great games finishing 4th overall. Thanks again to Warwickshire Tennis for organising a great event

We have had two fantastic days at the club challenge at Edgbaston priory as part of the Rothesay classic. Both Henley & Warwick have sent a combine team. In the Mini Orange & Green event yesterday and today we finished 5th out of 8 teams against some very big clubs.

The players have also had a fantastic time watching the professionals and getting an awful lot of autographs! Thanks to Warwickshire Tennis for running the event

We had another busy weekend of matches & events at Henley. Friday started with our 🇫🇷 French Open special team challenge. Then over the weekend we had lots of matches including two 11u boys teams both playing against each other! We also had our 12u and 14u boys teams playing some tough away matches but learning a lot.

Our theme this week for our lessons is attacking & defending so a great way to practice for all of our matches over the next few weeks.

Wow what a busy day of matches today. We started with a mini Red match against Alcester which finished a draw after some great close games and long rallies! Then the 10u players played against an extremely strong David Lloyd team eventually losing 6-2 but what a mammoth match it was with some brilliant points. We also had both our 14u boys team playing & our 16u boys team, they didn’t come out winners but had some really close well matches games. Well done to all of the 5 teams who played today.

Another very busy weekend of matches at Henley all played in some very nice weather!!

The first match was our 12u boys team who had a brilliant win against beechwood and then this was followed up with the Mini Orange team who also had a great performance winning 9-1 against West Warwicks.

One of the 11u boys then took on Warwick tennis club, after a very close match we eventually came out victorious 2-1. The other 11u boys then took on an extremely tough Beechwood side. Finally the 11u girls were away to Warwick Uni & produced some great tennis but unfortunately finishing 2-1 to Warwick uni.

A fantastic weekend of matches at Henley with some great pictures as well!

The 9u Orange team started off with a great win over Solihull Arden followed by the 11u boys and girls who all had brilliant games. The boys won a very close match against Knowle and the girls lost to a very good streetly team. Roll on next week
