Washington fishing club UK, Tyne and Wear

We also do coaching, both course and fly fishing and we have two experienced fishermen who hold over thirty six years of fishing experience between them.

We are a new fishing club based in Washington Tyne and Wear which was set up by two fishing clubs which combined together to form one large fishing club called Washington fishing club. What we do as a club is we set up and host competitions at different ponds to give anglers who enjoy competition fishing the chance to show their skills and win money or trophies at events. What we hope to achieve:

In the future we hope to expand on the fishing club and have our own club water with both course and game fish in, as well as having our own products and Fishing team to enter in major competitions around the world. Also we will keep everyone updated with all the news of what the fishing club gets up to, achievements and new ideas and plans.

left to right (black bodied green lure, gold tadpole, peacock buzzer and the olive-f fly) these are 4 patterns that some of our club members have tired and fished, they have proven very successful on the river wear and one of the smaller streams that run into the river, the members have caught over 80 fish in the last two months alone.

The patterns are going to be on sale in the next few months after more testing of them and if required more development.

At the moment we are just trying to get a group of keen anglers together who live in washington or near by, so we can have compeititions and events on free waters, also to share tips and hits of baits to use and which waters are fishing well. While we try and find waters to take over and stock up.

we are busy looking at several waters to take control over, but at the moment we are fishing a small stream which is stuffed with small brown trout that go up to 1lb and loads of small dace and chub. if you are interested in giving it a go message the page or leave a comment

New set of fly's been tied up, and ready to be tested on our local waters which include both lakes, rivers and a stream, there will be a video of the results

over the Christmas period we will be making new products to sell for next summer, this fantastic stock will include; flies (tied by the club and also bought off leading manufactures) pole rigs, DVDs, a magazine and also our own fantastic range of bait all ready for next summer.
