Our kitchenette maybe small but it’s perfectly formed with microwave, induction hob, toaster, fridge and plenty of equipment to make cooking simple 😊

The Stables was opened by the renowned jazz musicians Sir John Dankworth and Dame Cleo Laine and hosts around 350 concerts per year. From jazz, to comedy to classical there are so many amazing artists playing - Van Morrison is playing in March, Babatunde also has a stand up gig in February.

The Little Gable is literally opposite The Stables MK so is perfectly located if you are going to watch some live music there.

A good nights sleep is waiting for you at The Little Gable, king size bed, super comfy mattress and lots of peace and quiet! A tranquil place to stay in an ancient village, first recorded in 969! Yet only 10 minutes from the centre of Milton Keynes.

Don’t fancy cooking, our local gastropub The Wavendon Arms, Wavendon is just around the corner and does fantastic food! We can highly recommend their Sunday roast

A beautiful view to wake up to in the morning! You might even get lucky and see a green woodpecker foraging around in the grass at the moment, he’s out most mornings!

We are excited to officially open The Little Gable for bookings. Just a stones throw away from the acclaimed Stables Theatre and in the grounds of an 18th century Jacobean home.

A stylish one bedroom annex with king size bed and versatile table/desk ideal for dining or home working. The annex is equipped with a kitchenette (including single induction hob, microwave oven and fridge), and a fully fitted bathroom. Underfloor heating and WIFI make for a comfortable stay.

Enjoy the local countryside with access to our 2.5 acres, make use of the firepit and do some star gazing.
