Last year with the lockdown limitations, the traditional tree in Wells was cancelled.

Using some creative thinking, the locals created this amazing 15 foot Christmas tree out of crab and lobster pots, which has now become a firm favourite on the quayside.

Whatever you are doing this year, be safe, be kind and enjoy every day.

Now that lockdown has lifted, we can all once again enjoy the delights of the North Norfolk Coast.

We were up there last week and happy to report that everything is looking great for the season ahead. Things are opening gracefully and it was so lovely to be back.

We have carried out some updates to Captain’s cottage and it is looking as stunning as ever for the season.

So here is a little snapshot of Captain’s cottage.

Norfolk Dreams acquired this coastal gem in 2016.

It was in need of a complete renovation having not been updated for many years.

Over the next year, the entire property was gutted and subject to a complete programme of works to make it fit for 21st century living.

During this, most of the downstairs walls were removed, providing a fantastic open plan main living/ dining area.

The kitchen and bathroom ceilings were removed, opening up a beautiful stone vaulted ceiling.

The cottage was fully insulated, and original features including beams, brick fireplaces and stonework was exposed and included as part of the brief.

Loads of love and energy, attention to detail, bespoke furniture and an ‘urban rustic’ finish, truly make this an exceptional place to stay!

✅ Luxury kitchen with vaulted ceiling
✅ Downstairs bathroom/ wc with roll-top bath and electric shower
