FIRE EXTINGUISHER SERVICING: In order to comply with current Health and Safety Legislation, your fire extinguisher needs be serviced and maintained. This is normally once a year. We carry out maintenance of portable firefighting equipment to BS 5306 Part 3-code of practice for portable fire extinguishers. We do not insist on our clients signing a contract, but we will ret
urn on an annual basis to service your extinguisher, if that is your wish. This alleviates you from worrying about when your equipment is due for service, helping you to comply with current legislation. We issue a certificate of service after each service visit .FIRE RISK ASSESSMENTS This has been a requirement to certain businesses since Oct. 2009. We are able to offer this service at very competitive rates. This consists of visiting your site , assessing your fire protection needs , hazards particular to your premises , your fire protection cover . A floor plan of your property is included with location of emergency exits and fire extinguishers. Also included in the document which comes in printed book form are pages for you to complete if there are changes in your property or maintenance checking records. STAFF FIRE TRAINING : We offer a comprehensive training package. This consists of a DVD to be viewed outlining causes of fires , prevention and dealing with fires. A questionnaire is supplied for completion after viewing the DVD. A practical demonstration of extinguishers relevant to your situation takes place with client participation. A Certificate of attendance is issued. We visit you at your premises.
