Weymouth celebrates 80th anniversary of D-Day 🥳

A 30 minute drive from Weymouth.
Day trip to the Blue Pool.
Dating back to the 17th Century. A former clay pit quarried by hand. The clay was dug from the pit and used to make fine ceramic products for famous British pottery company Wedgwood. When it was abandoned in the 19th Century, the quarry filled with rain water creating a colour phenomenon caused by light diffracting from miniscule particles of clay suspended in its still depths.

Whether you want to stomp like a T Rex or sprint like a Velociraptor, there's a race for everyone! 🦖🏃

Sign up and run (in dinosaur costume) the 5km from the Pavilion end of Weymouth Beach to the stones at Greenhill and back! Shorter runs available for under 16's, under 11's and preschoolers.

Entry fee £10 adults, £5 children, £1 preschoolers ( payable on the day due to eventbrite fees) Money raised will go to local Charity Will Mackaness Trust.

Nothe Fort Weymouth is hosting a Remembrance Event to honour those who served and remember their sacrifice, this Saturday 11th November. The event will take place between 10:30am-3pm.

The fort will also be joined by the Mayor of Weymouth, Cllr Kate Wheller, who will be unveiling the community poppy display instigated by We Are Weymouth Business 🤩
