We hope everyone is well.

We were in Whitby ourselves this weekend. Mrs Cave was busy at work reupholstering our dining chairs. There is no end to her talents! We think they look great.

We have the first weekend in October free if anyone would like to book directly with us.

This is a 4 night minimum deal arriving Thursday 30th September, leaving Monday 4th October. Total cost is £380.

We have the weekends of 17th September, 24th September and 1st October available, all priced at £300 for a 3 night stay with your choice of the Thursday or Sunday night.

4 night option for £365 and 5 night option for £400.

Deposit is £150 with balance due by 31/7. You can book these deals directly with us if of interest.

Like most of you we were pleased to find out the government’s plans to gradually bring us out of lockdown. We have been inundated with enquires and only have a handful of dates left until September this year.

Thankfully we have managed to move all our bookings to future dates and given refunds where requested. Thank you to our past guests who have started to use the Airbnb calendar. If anyone is having difficulties using the Airbnb site just ask us for help.

If you are thinking of visiting us please do start to look as things are moving quickly. There are weekends in April if you want to be one of the first to visit once lockdown ends!

A reminder in the attached photos of our three double bedrooms and some new bedding we have purchased recently. (Photos taken today).

As we haven’t posted for a while we thought we’d let you know about a few recent changes at the property. We’ve been trying to keep busy during the time we have been unable to open.

Each bedroom now has a blackout blind in addition to one we’ve added in the kitchen.

The living room now has a cosy rug with some new matching cushions.

We’ve decorated in most areas including the kitchen, bathroom and new feature walls in the bedrooms.

We’ve added an occasional chair and new stool to the top floor master bedroom.

The rear yard now has a security light for late night returns to the property.

It is our intention to move 100% of our booking process over to AirBnb from January onwards. You will be able to view pricing and availability online through their site.

In the meantime please free to make any enquires you may have. We can secure dates with a 30% deposit and balance to follow 6 weeks before your arrival.
