The dog was ambitious in his choice of stick and we had hearty breakfast muffins and a sea view at Mary's Sandwich Bar.

I was delighted to see these photos, taken by Lythe photographer, Tom Watson of the days when I had a thatched roof, as did my neighbour, Oakdene!
In some of the pictures you can see the thatch being removed for renewal.
